As a known dreamer and a believer in faith, signs, karma and all that… I'm also not so comfortable with telling people what to wear or not to wear, how to look 'right' and decide what is right… sure, sometimes it's very tempting and there are times when it's inevitable… But being part of the fashion world for some time now, I have to admit that all that glitters is not gold… not everyone can look like a supermodel, not all of us can pull off the 'Carey Bradshaw look', fashion's 'rights' & 'wrongs' are being dictated to us by (mostly gay) fashion designers, stylist divas and masters of the Photoshop… But the real beauty in beauty is that it comes in an array of colors, styles, sizes and variations and the real fun in having a 'fashion style' is that all is allowed and welcomed; the real fashionistas seem to have it in their core and they just play with it for us to see and admire, but its fun to experiment, change and take risks, fashion risks. Worst case scenario is that we will get some funny looks from an elderly woman on the street, but who cares? As long as we enjoy expressing ourselves and be what we feel and want to be... You know why 'wannabe's' are named that? - Because it's not real, it's not coming from anywhere inside and that is why it's not working…
So never say 'never', you'll never know when certain periods of time becomes uber-chic again and maybe an 'olden villager' is really your winning look J; you don’t need to aspire to be anyone else, it's ok to like/adore/idolize and be inspired by someone just don’t strive to be someone you are not, be yourself – it's more unique!
