I think that everyone feels like that some times, but the painful part is knowing that not only you are not in a place you thought you would be by now, but knowing that you will never be in that place.. That ship had sailed and there is no turning back. My huge imaginary hour glass comes to visit me usually around my birthdays but this time he appeared early (it’s a good thing that tears cannot ruin a post much like they can ruin paper..) and I admit, I'm lost… because after accepting the 'I'm not were I wanted/hoped I would be' comes the 'ok, where do I go from here' followed by 'which path to choose'… and I'm not sure where I want to be anymore and if I'll find this path anytime soon. Masks can last only a certain amount of time but masks are off now, tears rolling and no idea what to expect, what to choose… I think I need a little miracle…..
hello vic, thank you for your sweet email. this post is what most of us {well creative types anyway} feel much of the time. you're just expressing the truth...and the great thing that i try and remind myself is, that at least we're doing it and probably better than we're giving ourselves credit for. if it were so easy everyone would be out there doing what we're dreaming of. wishing you a very very happy valentine's day!
