I always thought of the Ballet world as a place of fragile pasty young girls, submitted to the regime of a lengthy, agile elderly Eastern European teacher… where self-control, determination & hard work might earn you the title 'prima ballerina'… And now it maybe a good time to reveal a long lost childhood dream of mine… to study ballet, wear beautiful rosy tutu skirts on daily basis, walk around in those CUTE ballet shoes and have an amazing tulip-like posture. Sadly… not going to happen… Lately everywhere & anywhere there is a huge buzz over the new Darren Aronofsky’s film, 'Black Swan', starring Natalie Portman, bringing back the urge to adopt the 'ballerina' look. Now I like a good thriller movie, but when I heard that the Rodarte sisters are in charge of the amazing wardrobe for the film – that's a good enough reason for me to see it (and adopt a new 'ballerina' look for myself…).
