I'm always looking forward to see Dsquared2 shows, they always create a whole theme, beautiful looks & their own interpretation to classics. This season the collection was a darker, all about strong women, kind of a mixture between biker chic, S&M vampire women from the 80’s.. It’s sexy, red & black color palette, chains, sparkly skeletons… not my favorite Dsquared collection…
D&G
The cute, sexy, cozy D&G show, (similar to one of my old-time favorite D&G collection from Fall/Winter 2006), was one of my favorites this season. Snowflake sweaters, reindeers, full bodied ski suits, floaty dresses & the fluffiest mukluk boots… beautiful, fun, marked on my shopping calendar for next season’s must-have list right beside the Marc Jacobs collection.
Prada
Prada surprised with a feminine, classic, comfy collection with a full-on support for the women figure, very surprising considering the fact that curvaceous women figure is the antichrist for fashion designers… Miuccia featured generous busts shown through ruffles of lace, raised waists with wide skirts, chunky sweaters, knitwear, layers… and not only the cloths but the choice of models was also new with curvy beauties such as Lara Stone, Doutzen Kroes & Catherine McNeil strutting, definitely a refreshed Prada view.
